Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary rally benefited SMILES "Riders Helping Riders" Rally
Board members April Southwick and Shawn Kemmer hosted fundraiser for SMILES
Over Labor Day weekend board members April Southwick and Shawn Kemmer hosted approximately 70 Harley-Davidson riders at their home to celebrate the 110th Anniversary of Harley-Davidson. Both April and Shawn are members of an owners group of Heritage Springers- a model Harley-Davidson built between 1997 and 2003 that's classic in its chrome-and-leather circa-1930s looks. April and Shawn had guests come in from Canada, Georgia, New York, and Boston just to name a few. The guests were invited to stay in their home, or camp on their property, and April prepared meals for everyone herself. The guests were able to provide donations to SMILES, as the event was hosted as a fundraiser for SMILES. The entire SMILES family extends a sincere "Thank You" to April and Shawn for their hard work in putting on this event for SMILES.
